Alexander & James sofas are hand crafted and made to order from the finest materials, sourced globally. Their leathers are natural, have character and age beautifully. All of their wood comes from sustainable forest governed by the the WWF association. All sofas produced by Alexander & James are polished to perfection and all of the shapely legs are hand turned to perfection. Fillings are super soft, mixing feather, foam and fibre. They test each individual sofa to the highest of British standards, including their own A&J bottom test.
Alexander and James leathers are carefully selected by their master craftsman and are processed using some of Europe's top quality livestock. The characteristics of the hides are unchanged leaving behind their natural characteristics of the hide. The presence of distinctive marks that tell the story of the animal's life, such as healed scars, wrinkles, veining, grain differences, differences in colour shades and any other sign that nature has left on these hides, prove that they are absolutely genuine.
