Standard Single - 3'0'" wide x 6'3" long / 90cm x 190cm
Small Double - 4'0'" wide x 6'3" long / 120cm x 190cm
Standard Double - 4'6" wide x 6'3" long / 135cm x 190cm
King Size - 5'0" wide x 6'6" long - 150cm x 200cm
Super King Size - 6'0" wide x 6'6" long - 180cm x 200cm
It is also available in special sizes. The general rule is we can have it made smaller or bigger in multiples of 3 inches, so as an example, instead of 4ft6 x 6ft3 you could have it made to 4ft3 x 6ft. Delivery direct to the room of your choice - In regards to delivery of your new bed, please allow us to take care of things for you. We have carefully selected an outstanding outside courier company to carry out our deliveries on our behalf. You will find them to be both courteous and professional. Delivery can be made to your home or to the address of your choice. They will happily put your new bed into the room of your choice for you.
Delivery Charges - All of our bed deliveries to any addresses within the Devon and Cornwall area are chargeable where payment should be made directly to the courier company upon arrival (not when ordering). The delivery charge for customers who live in Exeter is £35 regardless of how many items you purchase. If you live outside of Exeter the charge will go up. You are able to calculate the delivery charge by simply adding a product to your cart, clicking on the shopping cart icon located in the top right of the page and then you can 'calculate shipping and taxes'.
Collection is free - All items that we sell are free to collect if preferred.
Delivery procedure If you live in Devon or Cornwall - If you live in Devon or Cornwall and the bed you want is in stock at the time of ordering we will contact you straight away and always within 24 hours to arrange a convenient day to deliver. If the bed needs to be ordered we will contact you within 24 hours of it arriving into our warehouse.
Delivery procedure If you live outside of Devon and Cornwall - It is easy to calculate the cost of home delivery. You can do so by adding any item to your cart, clicking on the shopping cart icon located in the top right of the page and then you can 'estimate shipping and taxes'. The maximum we charge for a delivery in England in £59. If your bed is in stock (or from when it arrives from the manufacturers to us), we will arrange for it to be delivered to one of the carefully selected warehouses we use throughout the country. You will then be contacted within 2 working days of your order arriving into it, where we will organise a convenient day for your new bed to be delivered to you.
Pillows and much smaller items delivered nationally for just £10 - All smaller items can be delivered nationally for just £10, in some circumstances this is also the case for headboards. Please contact us for further details.
Given the above, here at the Devon Bed Centre, out of courtesy, upon receiving any order we will call you to discuss the order. We will run through it with you and ultimately ensure you are happy. Then, leave the rest to us!
Disposal of your old bed - We are also able (in most cases) to arrange for the collection and disposal of your old bed if required. Please contact us for further details and pricing.
